Zendaya and Tom Holland are reveling in their private wedding celebration.
PEOPLE previously reported that the Spider-Man: Brand New Day costars hosted a private party on Tuesday, Aug. 4, to celebrate their wedding after getting married earlier this year.
Now, a source has told PEOPLE that the couple “couldn’t be happier” at how the occasion, which was held at luxury hotel Beaverbrook in Surrey, England, turned out.
“They’ve both been so busy and this was really the perfect little window for them,” the source told PEOPLE of the pair taking advantage of a small break between their respective work projects to host their wedding celebration.
“Keeping everything private was incredibly important to them. They’re very protective of their personal lives and really wanted to enjoy this without any outside attention,” the source continued. “They’re so happy with how everything turned out. They got to have their private wedding and then this bigger celebration with everyone they love. They really couldn’t be happier.”

The source added that the couple is “just so happy to be married.” “It’s a really exciting time for both of them and you can really see that when you’re around them,” they shared.
Zendaya, 29, and Holland, 30, joined family and friends to celebrate at the country house hotel, which is located near Holland’s hometown of Kingston upon Thames, in South West London.
A source told PEOPLE that Holland’s three brothers, Sam, Harry and Paddy, were in attendance and stayed in the cottages on the estate.
“There was a very natural theme to the wedding,” the source added, noting that Holland’s brothers wore black tuxedos with wildflowers tucked into the buttonholes of their jackets.

Holland officially confirmed that he and his The Odyssey costar had tied the knot in June after months of speculation. He shared the happy news when debunking AI wedding photos, telling Esquire in a June 16 interview that none of his loved ones were fooled by photos because “they were all there” at the couple’s actual wedding.
The Avengers star was then asked to expand on the nuptials, to which he replied, “That’s all you’ll get on that.”

Nearly two weeks later, Zendaya’s stylist, Law Roach, commented on the AI-generated wedding looks on Good Morning America and teased that Zendaya’s real wedding dress was “better than that.”
It was Roach, 48, who fueled speculation that the pair had married in the first place.
When asked about the pair tying the knot by Access Hollywood at the 2026 Actor Awards on March 1, Roach claimed that “the wedding has already happened,” adding, “You missed it.”
Zendaya then stepped out at the 2026 Oscars on March 15 wearing a wedding band, which she has continued to wear at red carpet events. On Aug. 6, just two days after the pair’s private wedding celebration, Holland was spotted wearing his wedding ring for the first time since he confirmed their marriage.
Euphoria star Zendaya sparked engagement rumors in January 2025 when she attended the Golden Globes wearing a large diamond ring on her left finger. PEOPLE confirmed that she and Holland were engaged less than 24 hours later.
