“Avery is awesome, he loves to teach his brother things,” McCreery shared, explaining that his oldest son is into sports and loves making people laugh. He also described Avery as “a ham” who joins in whenever his younger brother gets attention for being funny.

Meanwhile, little Oliver is getting closer to taking his first steps. McCreery joked that his youngest son has started rocking back and forth but has not quite figured out how to get moving yet.

“We got our hands full in all the best ways,” the singer said, adding that despite the busy days, his family appreciates the blessings they have.

And it looks like fatherhood is influencing more than just McCreery’s life offstage. The country star is also drawing from his personal experiences as he works on his next full-length album.

McCreery recently celebrated his 15th anniversary as a recording artist with 15, a career retrospective featuring nine of his biggest hits and four new recordings. Now, he is already preparing for the next chapter and plans to return to the studio soon.

“I’m itching to get back in the studio to make a full-length album,” he revealed.

Some of the new songs are deeply personal, including one inspired by his beloved dog Moose and another about his grandmothers, both of whom he lost last year.

With new music on the way and two young sons growing up alongside him, McCreery seems to be entering a meaningful new chapter both on and off the stage.

And if Avery’s first taste of performing is any indication, fans may have already gotten a glimpse of another McCreery waiting in the wings.
